  • NuFilm NT2A is a low-film version of NT 5-A. for low residue in-house protection for 8-12 months. Very good water and fingerprint-displacing properties.
  • NuFilm NT 5-A is an oil-dispersed, non-staining rust preventive that leaves behind a light film for indoor protection on steel and other ferrous parts. NuFilm NT 5-A may be brushed on, dipped, or sprayed on at room temperatures. NuFilm NT 5-A provides excellent water-displacing characteristics while preventing stain formation when parts nest together. NuFilm NT 5-A is a product that can be used to protect service automotive engine and transmission parts.
  • NuFilm NT 2200-RP is a solvent-based, water-displacing, barium-free rust preventive specially formulated to produce a thin, imperceptible residual film. This product displaces freestanding water and alkaline cleaner contamination and provides medium to long-term in-house rust protection. NuFilm NT 2200-RP may be applied by brush, dip, or spray applications at room temperature. Heating this product is not advisable due to a low flash point of 120°F.
  • NuFilm NT 2400-RP is solvent based heavy-duty general-purpose rust preventive, 12-month minimum indoor rust protection. Displaces freestanding water and replaces it with a rust preventive film that is easily washed with a mild alkaline cleaner. This product can be applied by brush, dip, or spray. Flash point is over 140°F. Contains a barium-based RP.
  • NuFilm NT-2500 is a solvent based general-purpose rust preventive. The petroleum carrier in NuFilm NT-2500-RP deposits a wax film on parts that provides excellent in-house rust protection for both ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. May be applied by brush, dip or spray application at room temperature. Contains a barium-based RP.
  • NuFilm RUSTOP is very similar chemistry as the NT 5-A, but uses paraffinic oil as a carrier rather than naphthenic. Comes in small ready to use quart bottles. Ideal for operators who need to keep tool fixtures and pieces from rusting during downtime or repair.

Synthetic Rust Inhibitors

Water-soluble, bio-stable corrosion inhibitors designed to reject tramp oil and support long-term indoor protection.

  • NuFilm 500 is a unique, water soluble rust and corrosion inhibitor that is effective on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This product is extremely bio-resistant and will reject tramp oils that interfere with protection. Parts protected with a 10% dilution of NuFilm 500 can be expected to resist corrosion for up to 1 year indoor storage.
  • NuFilm 12 is a unique, water soluble rust and corrosion inhibitor that is effective on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This product is extremely bio-resistant and will reject tramp oils that interfere with protection. Parts protected with NuFilm 12 can be expected to resist corrosion for up to 1-year indoor storage. Effective on both ferrous and non-ferrous metal.

  • NuFilm Ferrogard is a water dilutable corrosion inhibitor based on extremely low foam and low residue characteristics. NuFilm Ferrogard is recommended for hydrostatic applications requiring short term (1-3 months) to long term (6-8 months) indoor rust protection of cast iron and steel alloys. NuFilm Ferrogard contains no diethanolamine or nitrites and will not stain copper or brass. NuFilm Ferrogard is very low foaming and is an effective rust inhibitor at moderate concentrations. It is completely soluble in water and may be used as an in-process rust inhibitor. Due to the solubility of NuFilm Ferrogard, the product’s concentration can be tailored to meet specific protection requirements. NuFilm Ferrogard forms a near imperceptible film on machine parts for excellent corrosion protection without forming a sticky residue. It is also compatible in a wide range of water hardness. The clear dilution makes NuFilm Ferrogard the ideal choice for leak test baths for which visual clarity is important. Short term non-discernible film with excellent tack free corrosion protection. It’s low foaming for both spray and dip applications. No Triazine or Formaldehyde releasers. Nitrite free.

Heavy-Duty Preventatives

High-solid, durable films for long-term indoor storage and challenging outdoor or overseas shipping conditions.

  • NuFilm 239 is a high flash point, solvent type rust. Preventative/corrosion inhibitor, designed to provide a translucent, dry, durable coating. NuFilm 239 provides long-term indoor storage protection and short to long-term outdoor protection on sheet steel and other ferrous parts. The coating is extremely durable and resilient in a variety of harsh environments and can withstand unprotected outdoor environments (rain impingement) for storage of parts. This product cures completely in 24 to 48 hours (depending on application environment) and can be handles prior to complete cure. NuFilm 239 is compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum. NuFilm 239 can be applied to machined parts, forged parts, steel plate and processed steel coil or rod.
  • NuFilm 245 is an extremely low VOC content solvent/oil based heavy duty rust preventative. It is formulated with the newest corrosion inhibitors to provide a sustainable, long-lasting product. NuFilm 245 is water displacing which is extremely important when rust preventing parts that have previously been dipped in rinse water prior to rust preventing. NuFilm 245 will provide long-term indoor corrosion protection for parts in climate controlled or uncontrolled warehouses. NuFilm’s thin film technology protects ferrous and non-ferrous parts in covered and uncovered outdoor storage conditions. Parts shipped overseas in bags or boxes may use NuFilm 245 for protection. Removing NuFilm 245 may be easily accomplished using a 10% solution of alkaline cleaner at 150°F in a spray washer or immersion tank. NuFilm 245 is extremely low in VOC’s.
